Rosanne Halloran
My upbringing was in the historic Irish farming community of St. Thomas, Minnesota. Singing around the piano was a regular occurrence in our house, and I became the family accompanist at a very early age. It was my good fortune to be the church organist from age 11 until my departure for the College of St. Benedict. Those were the days of the great Latin masses. Following college, and two years of teaching in the Minnetonka School District, a suburb of Minneapolis, I moved to Eugene, Oregon for graduate study at the University of Oregon, one year of which I spent studying at the University's German Music Center near Stuttgart, Germany. Tim Lyles (Multi-instrumentalist) Tim originally hails from Memphis, TN where he learned to play the guitar, and other instruments, while surrounded by deep roots music like blues, gospel, soul, and jazz. He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and graduated from Memphis State University with a degree in Music and Media. Since moving to the Twin Cities in the 1980's, he has worked for a number of broadcast television productions, recording studio projects, and live performances. Tim is married to classical pianist, Pat Lyles, and he currently teaches at MusicTech College in St. Paul. According to Tim, good music is worth recording if there is a pot of strong coffee available!

Jim Johnson (Producer-Arranger) Jim has been in the recording business for 30 years. He opened his first studio in Bloomington in 1974. Prior to that he had been on the road with the legendary Conway Twitty. Jim says he learned his art at the feet of the masters in Nashville. He feels he was blessed to have had the opportunity to listen and learn from the great producer Owen Bradley, also known as Mr. Nashville.

During his 30 years here in the Minneapolis area he has recorded everything from pop to hard rock, country to gospel and standards to jazz. He has Gold and Platinum credits for his work with the MCA group "The Jets.” He had 3 top-10 hits with the Minneapolis Christian group "River" and also a Number 1 country hit on the independent charts by Doug Spartz.

Good music is worth recording no matter what the format, according to Jim. But his real love lies in the gospel/country mode, which he continues to record today, even as he begins to cut down his busy recording schedule.
